I am now a veteran of three Marquez's.Read just about enough to call him Gabo.My Spanish is scratchy at best and i think Fidel Castro is Naipual with a country to rule.But i can tell you that you know are readin marquez when...
...you know exactly what the ending would be(although cholera was a bit surprising), know exactly how it would transpire, but for some subliminal reason continue to read in awe...

I have to nominate Milo MinderBinder from catch 22.
Opened up a random page as i used to till a couple of years back.And I read...

"Milo’s planes were a familiar sight. I heard someone actually did his Phd. thesis on Milo's profit schemes.
